Camp Season is Here!

One of the first things at camp this year is a day for the mature campers. May 21 you are invited to a Musical Lollapalooza with Andy Avery. Day starts with 8:30 AM registration, coffee and donuts and ends after a day of fun, music, lunch and renewing old friendships at about 3:00 PM. Cost is $10.00 if registered by May 11; $15.00 after that.
Next up is the Open House and Silent Auction and fun for all – pony rides, climbing the wall, swimming, free food, dunk your dean – all on Saturday, June 5 from 11 AM to 4 PM.
Before all this can happen there are some things we are responsible for – we need to donate large bottles of Dawn dish soap for the kitchen and we are responsible for cleaning cabin #3. We can also clean at home and take our surplus to the camp by May 28 for the silent or live auction.
Any young person wanting to go to camp this summer needs to pre-register and send their money to the campy by May 20 to avoid late registration fees. If a young person needs help with the cost of camp, contact one of the board members at church. There are registration forms on the camp board at the church.
We have one of the best camps in the area, let’s take advantage of the programs they offer and enrich our lives and encourage those needing an uplift!
